Mazda 3. Owner of the mini cooper I did previously.

Goal: Full interior/Engine/Exterior Decon and wax. Took me about 13 hours working time. Did the interior saturday night so it could have plenty of time overnight to dry...then started the exterior sunday morning.

Preview of what the whole car looked like, spring season was all over and inside all the cracks.

swissvax and wheel woolies were used...wheel arches and tires degreased

    Couple exterior before and afters

Foamed, rinsed, foamed, two bucket wash

Whole car was covered in contamination. Ironx'd, autoscrubbed, foamed one last time and blow/blot dried.

Got this great idea from Detailer's Domain, really made it easy getting the tires clean.

Gave the car a wipedown to prep for wax. First time using this wax.

Once again these super cheap brushes from the hardware store proved invaluable while dressing trim

Interior before and afters. Didn't clean up quite as well as I had hoped but the owner was happy

Does the pet hair brush help that much? My sister put my dog in her car and now it has dog hair all over, took me a while to vacuum it all out.

Nice work, that car was really neglected and abused.

thank you, I use those a lot when I share my work on Instagram so i figured I might as well use them to declutter my threads.
Yes, I'm certainly glad my local autozone keeps it in stock as well.
Thank you! you're right..I believe she used to have it detailed regularly but it got put on the back burner for quite awhile.

What product did you use on the interior carpets and seats? Thanks

Folex and steam to help loosen...then extracted

We have the same car, how awful is the carpet in that one? Ours has black carpet and it's like vacuuming outdoor fake grass, no pile to it at all. Great job.

Thanks. Yes this carpet sucked...its also severely worn with 165k on the car and in some places completely gone to the backing...there
was a large hole in the drivers area from her shoe heel...i taped it up to make sure i didn't get any water trapped underneath. Any part of the carpet completely worn down i made sure to avoid running over with the extractor.

    Thank you!!
