Seriously, I watched the video, this is a great resource for those who are just getting into the "sport" Shows visually the steps on when and what to do. This is by no means a bible, but this is honestly a very good illustration to the basics http://www.chemicalguys.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/detailingflowchat.jpg
Good chart. I will say I am honestly impressed with CG over the last 6 months almost and the turnaround with the webpage and the information they are putting out now both online and from there videos.
Well, some companies are going away from the "clown marketing" IE: packaging, silly marketing ploys............... while others are running arms stretched out in front of them to it. People need to realize you cannot reinvent the wheel, just the box it comes in. and as consumers, its insult to many if you try to play them for dumb.
Yes the web site makeover has been nice. I was able to create a nice comparison of soaps. The chart is good too but looks a lot like the AG chart just turned sideways (not sure who was first) but the information is not unique.
^^^ Except that wording is almost identical in pretty much every square. Plagiarism, or imitation is flattery?
True. I honestly have never seen the autogeek flow chart........ turning something another direction............. HMMMM? LOL
Turning it in a different direction? Mind blown. In all seriousness these charts do lay the basics out very well.
Meguiars has had stuff like this since the 80's, fold out brochures handed out at PBE stores and car shows. Also posters in the displays at the PBE stores.
The point of posting this up was not to start a argument who is copying who, its to help out those who constantly ask what works best and the general process. We all know there are a hanful of companies who copy each other, use relabeled products, steal other peoples ideas, make "ground breaking claims" and honestly, the only company I can say that really in my mind has forged the way would be Meguiars, they have been around since I was a kid washing my mom and dads cars. So who knows, maybe auto geek stole the flow chart from them, then chemical guys stole it from them, pretty sure griots garage has something as well. Probably adams too. Again, it was purely informational. @ bunky, I like that spread sheet of soaps. great resource
