K, yeah, Im surprised they don't have it on their site, and I am close to Bakersfield but not worth the drive for that. Thanks
if your order is $25+ and the whole order is less than 5lbs (each product on the site has the weight), you get free shipping through autoality... p.s. getting it through phil would be ideal, but since he doesn't carry CG's...
Yeah, I wish he carried it. DI has it, i need to see what else I need/ want then just add it to an order.
DI has it and autoality has it; in addition to the geek. If you are apart of the Detailing Club you will get a great price on it as well.
Don't waste your time or money, had it, sold it. Honestly doesn't do jack unless you have fresh waterspots. It won't do anything to the typical imbedded ones.
I haven't. I can honestly say it is the weakest product I have ever used. I usually love CG stuff but their polishes and waterspot remover just don't cut it (Pun intended )
Personally, not to sound old fashioned but the only real way to remove waterspots is to cut in with polisher. I will say that car pro trix is pretty good with removing alot of stuff, I was thinking of trying CLR being that waterspots are primarily calcium based.
I have yet to find water spots that were above the surface that could not be removed with 3D water spot remover called ERASER: Hard Water Spot Remover for Cars & Glass – 3D Eraser As a matter of fact I used it on my glass shower doors that had nearly a decade of etching. Wipe the gel on, aggitate and they're gone. Just gotta use in a well ventilated space.
Thanks Dave, I think Ill give that one a try. I have that issue on my shower door. What I have found is that alot of products like Pro Car and Mark VI are great at some what recent spots, but spots that are a few years old its a futile effort.
Based on your recommendation, I'm picking up a bottle of Eraser this coming Monday morning. My wife was at an offsite meeting this past Friday, and where she parked they decided to turn on the sprinklers messing-up an entire row of automobiles. The water spots got baked on! The issue I have with CG Water Spot RX is that it has micro-abrasive in the ingredients. My thoughts have always been that you are breaking down a mineral and not to do so with any abrasive as you will reducing the paint/clearcoat surrounding the spots in doing so. I'd rather try to get off the calcium buildup first, before any abrasives.
Thank you and PLEASE let us know how it works. I can assure you that there are no abrasives in this decon gel. Just make sure to work in a well ventilated area and wear eye/hand protection.
I find products that cut/work chemically are far superior to those that use abrasives, even with polishes (Fast Gloss 400 is amazing).
