Just completed, this low mileage "Demo car" was picked up from my client to enjoy the nice weather this spring/summer. Although new(2,200 miles) the vehicle had some issues on the finish such as the true definition of RIDS as there were isolated deep inch to inch and a half scratches on almost every panel. The beginning, this panel does not look that bad until a "After pic" is shown. This pic puts that in context. Defects like this were everywhere. Another one. After compounding. More defects. The area which took the most concentrated effort was the rear filler and blades, made of plastic and painted gloss black(Where the rest of the car is metallic Black) was destroyed as the paint is super soft. Making progress. New Mr KBM provided Rupes TK-50 bailing me out of a jam, hand polishing would not have corrected these hard to reach areas. This area had the most defects on the car. Soft black paint on the front bumper was in need of work. Engine bay had hard water spots. After.
Interior pics. \ Finished pics. Top down 75 degrees................................. does it get better than that?.
Proper summer car IMO. I could see it now, cruising the 101 top down, tunes bumping... Surfboard In the passenger seat.
