Up for detail today was a 2002 Jet Black 330ci... really bad overspray and water etching along with its fair share of scratches and swirls.... Products used: ONR Sonus Green Clay Optimum Compound Menzerna 106FF Clearkotes Carnauba Moose Wheel Before Wheel After Before ONR During ONR- After ONR- After the ONR wash, I clayed, then proceded to go with Optimum Compound and an orange cutting pad... This is AFTER clay but before compounding... After Optimum compound and Menzerna 106ff Heres a 50/50 Before... After compounding- (notice the hazing left from the compound) After Menzerna 106FF- And here are some outside sun shots- Please excuse the hazing in this pic, the quick detailer was acting funny with the paint out in full sun and I had not yet removed all the wax residue... After these pictures were taken the car was pulled back into the garage and given a full wipe down to ensure that all streaking and wax residue was removed... Enjoy...
Great work. Nice turn around!! Haven't used Carnauba Moose in a few years. What pros and cons do you have with it?
Thanks... I have been using Ultima PGP lately and haven't seen the need to change, but I figured before people started calling me a shill, I would switch it up and use my Carnauba Moose again. It takes a little longer to apply than Ultima but it also gives a different look. I have only used it about 5 or 6 times but everytime I used it I have been really impressed. I only use it on dark colors but have had great results with it. It gives the paint a nice deep glow and it almost changes the color of the paint (hard to explain) Durability is also supposed to be a plus but I have not been able to test full durability yet. If you like the look of a carnauba but don't want to break the bank then Carnauba Moose is right for you...
Great work! And awesome wet to the paint Have heard people saying put the CK yellow wax under will give you extrs wetness of the paint.
Nice turn around on that vehicle, man sure brought it back to life. Just curious what machine did you use for the paint corrections? Just wondering that's all, the 50/50 pictures look great :thumb: I like the reflection you got out of it well done :applause2: Thank you for sharing with us eace:
