I have now been in my new house since Feb 1st. Since the move my detailing supplies have been in boxes in the basement. My mom was nice enough to buy me a metal shelving unit for the new garage. Today I spent a few hours getting it and all my gear ready for warmer weather.

The metal storage shelf is from Menard's. It is 36"w x 18"d x 72"t. I went with this shelf because I could adjust the shelf height as needed. The cost was only $50.

Overall I am happy with the quality of the frame pieces. I may go with thicker shelving pieces later. I have not anchored it to the wall because I do plan on painting the walls this spring. I tried to put the heaviest items near the bottom also.

Thanks for reading. I hope to be able to share a few details when it gets warmer. I'm really excited to wash a car on a driveway instead of the grass LOL.

I have some cabinets like that. As long as one remembers to put the shelf the right side up, they work fine....

Looks great. I especially like that fact that the bins on the bottom fit in that rack EXACTLY. Very neat looking.
