Is ONR safe for 22ple?

Wanted to know if ONR is safe for the 22ple coating and what car wash soap is best. I know gtechniq recommends their gwash but I didn't see any recommendations from 22ple.

i have 2 coats off 22PLE on my car, and i had the same question. Phil said the Auto finesse Lather or the Lusso Oro is a good mild shampoo for the 22PLE. i've been using the wolfs nano shampoo, which he also said was fine. IDK about the ONR.

 

Thanks, ill use those, is ONR considered mild as a rinseless?

 

I use optimum car wash. Seems to be fine.

 

idk why a coating will be called a "COATING" if it cant withstand certain car soap.....

Agree - it'd be a pretty poor product if it was degraded by a wash that doesn't impact a normal wax or sealant.

 

Agree, but I know a product like Body Wrap can degrade if you don't use the proper soap

 

I agree, if a coating or wrap or whatever else can't hold up to ONR or any other name brand "shampoo" that's not meant for stripping, then it's not much or a coating at all.

 

I have used ONR multiple times with great results on my car that is coated with 22ple VX1.
