Just picked this up last week, has 300 miles on it. Products used: Sonax for wheels (first time using this, was AMAZED) P21s for wheel wells, side steps, etc Lusso Auto Bathe Premium Car Wash 2 new wash mitts 2 bucket wash with grit guards. M205/Green pad Griots DA Menzerna Powerlock Sealant, Black Pad and Griots DA. Sealed twice. Adams glass cleaner Came out really well, this one surprisingly didn't have many swirls. Couldn't even get them to show up on camera to be honest. Just a few pics, nothing to special. The Jeep has the following Modifications: 275/70/18 GoodYear Dura Tracs (33") Terra Flex Leveling kit, 2" front 1" rear Tinted Debadged I have a 2003 Cobra that will need some MAJOR love. Plan to do a full correction on that with pics.
Thanks! I like it a lot. this is my second one, I bought a 2012 that looked pretty much the same but was a 6 speed manual back in May. Driving a stick shift for daily duties along with work duties it got annoying real quick. I traded it for this one last week.
It's actually not my shop, it's my friends detail shop. It's huge. You can see the stall I was using in the background. That garage door leads into a showroom. showroom houses a Lamborghini Diablo and a Skyline GTR in the winter months. This is standing at the far back wall. That is standing at the front where my Jeep would be parked.
Cool color! Glad to hear about the lack of swirls. Hey, did you clean the paint between 205 and powerlock? Oily residue and sealants don't mix well, may interfere with proper bonding and durability may suffer. That is just as far as I know. I could be wrong.
That is a 1 off color jeep. Never seen that color, very eye catching and unique. I must say as well that the shop is fantastic! Man everytime i see a shop like that it makes me wonder and really want to push to get one of my own. That place just looks prime. Nice work!
