After educating my client on paint correction it was time to get the Ferrari looking as it should. You will see some befores of a previous detailer who made my jaw drop as I saw what was done. NOTE**** USED NEW MF TOWELS SO LINT IS PRESENT IN AFTERS as it was..... did a test spot to see what I was dealing with here compound in about every place possible, I had previously done a few washes on it and used my steam cleaner to get some out but still A LOT remained throughout from the previous detailer water spots all over exhaust tips in their usual Mate finish brakes werent too bad as I had previously been cleaning them but still needed some tightness Stainless exhaust can needed some love under LED before and after of same spot before and after before and after carbon fiber bit in engine bay before and after compound everywhere.... water spots galore took a step back momentarily roof before hurts to look at.... lil sun test on a corrected area. looking good. hood seen better days roof again trunk lid.... above window bumper below tail lights carbon fiber after all better underside needed some attention.... rear bumper corrected attending to the details....(above exhaust tips) area corrected closer look inside carbon fiber corrected like this shot sand scratches right by air intake gone some after compounding Rock chips in hood (car tracked) below window corrected yes i know... its dusty roof looking good randoms (LINT not scratches) probably should have checked my pictures earlier.... sun pics(before Opti Coat) and afters....
Schwing.................... on your way Mark/Paul, Daniel and I were thinking of you while we were working on a "Red car" too.
Thats RED!! Nice job. I love the 50/50 on the exhaust can? Does the steamer work really well to remove old wax / polish buildup?
Ken, with the proper agitation with a solvent and brush prior to steaming, it did the trick after a few goes at it. (I realize I forgot those pics now....)
D300 and M101 on meguiars mf disk followed up with 105 on tangerine foam. If done properly this can yield a great finished result in which had been my go to as of late. Opti coated for protection
