I was called in a few days ago at my buddy's shop to evaluate his customer's 996 Carrera. Upon meeting with the owner, he told me he had entered his car in the Martin Luther King parade in San Diego, and that he wanted to restore some clarity in the paint + shine it up. So we settled on a quick one step + sealant. Here are the pictures

Nice work. The taillights and bodykit are interesting though.

Thank you. The kit looks like a 996 GT2 kit to me. Taillights...... some aftermarket stuff I think, it has really bad condensation lol

Good work Mike! But I'm not feeling the bodykit at all... Kind of riced out.

I didn't really like it either to be honest, but to each of his own I guess......

Nice job! Which one step product and sealant did you use?

For the repainted parts, I used Scholl S3 with B&S Yellow; for the OE paint, I used HD Advance Polish with B&S Green. LSP was Prima Epic.

That is one ugly 911 but very nice detailing work either way.

Nice work on the black paint! I gotta say though in my opinion that is a piss poor porsche. Reminds me of a riced out honda. That poor thing was tortured! The bodykit is a big negative especially with that metal mesh like chicken wire in the back, the tail lights and headlights just look way to ricey. It really detracts from the overall beauty of the Porsche but it isn't my car and if that's what the owner likes that's why they make accesories to make the car tailored to that person.

Wow great job Mike! I can't believe the results you achieved for a 1 step.

How long did it take you?

I personally enjoyed seeing the mop hold up the bonnet.
