I am a hobiest DIY detailer that only works on my cars by night and a Small business owner doing Custom audio video systems by day. I have a Nissan NV van and was running out of space and i was tired of dealing with tool bags etc. Some may ask why the hell i would share something like this on a detailing website but I used to help a friend of mine run a pretty big mobile detailing company and know how valuable space and organization is on your trailers/vans/cars. This system could be easily adapted for you and your products/tools. Personally my efficiency has gone up notably.

Im copying this from my other trade forums to save me some time some of my paragraphs are trade/thread specific so bear with me , my collection has grown over the last 2 months and is still growing :):crasy: If you guys care ill continue to update this thread with my progress. I also think that you guys might take special notice in the vacuum on page 3. The size is so tiny but the power is insane :yikes:

How do you cut the foam?

I ask because I have some cases I carry other items in that have pick and pluck foam and when I fly or travel the items still get moved around, Id like to be able to have some foam custom cut, around the items so its more stable and a tighter fit.

Love that tool box by the way

The foam is called Kaizen and is availible in different depths, if you need more height you can just hot glue them together. As far as cutting them its really easy it just requires there tracing pen, you can use a utility knife, exacto knife or just use their knife, the hard part is pulling the foam out in layers and its the only thing i wish was easier. Here is a good video on how to cut it :) http://youtu.be/lBnkwroSQCw

Cool, yeah the foam that comes in the pelican storm cases I use is really soft, and very hard to cut clean. Looks like the Kaizen foam is a more rigid.

    thanks for the tip!

Your're welcome! this stuff is very rigid and would be perfect for transporting through airports.

    @ Socal

Thanks! Im a total festool nut :crasy: Its like once you use the best detailing products you never want to return to off the shelf garbage form the big boxes. I wish i knew how to use a rotary i would be all over the shinex. I got the RO150 for christmas which is a rotary/DA in one and some of the guys on forums say it works well but since i use my tools for carpentry I dont want to mix the two

I have the Bosch LBoxx system. I also have a couple Systainers.

Both have their advantages but I like how the TLoc Systainers allow a lower box to be opened without unstacking them.
