For Ken (911 Fanatic) and whomever else...

Ken asked me recently to post up pics of a 1956 Morgan +4 that I was given when I turned 16. I have no electronic shots, only print copies. I shot a pic of both cars I have in a frame. The Moggy I had for years, the Lambo only 3.5 years. It is a 1970 Miura S. I owned it from 1985 to 1989. Whether you choose to believe it or not, I sold the Lambo to Jay Leno. I don't know if he still has it or not. The shot from the Lambo is obviously taken in the 80's when you look at my long hair and the clothes. I miss both cars, but especially the Lambo. I still have my personalized plates from both. Lambo1 and MOG056. The Moggy plate took some doing as it was years and years before personalized plates, but that's another story for another time.

I don't know about that. His initial collection was not cars but motorcycles. When I met him he was guest hosting on Johnny. He was the nicest, down to Earth person you could ever meet. We're both such motor heads, we hit it right off. I'm sure he was thinking..."What's this kid in his 20's doing with a Lamborghini?"

OK Dana..let me remind you in 20 some odd years from now what you looked like today..I'm sure it'll be different too. But, yes, before the days of Law Enforcement and short hair and no facial hair either...I guess I have changed a bit, LOL....Boy. to be that damned skinny again....hmmmmm.

You're welcome buddy...I posted these up for you.

He had actually bought a 3 wheeled Morgan from a friend of the family several years before and they had kept in touch. Jay was in Detroit doing a comedy show and our friend Mike picked him up at the airport. Jay told him "I'm looking for a really nice Miura"...the rest is history. I had already told Mike that I was going to sell it in the next year as I intended in marrying my girlfriend of the time. Next May we celebrate 20 years of marriage. It was the 2nd smartest thing I've ever done next to marrying my wife.
