I have a great lighting setup in my bay but I need something handheld. I know the brinkmans aren't bad as I have a dual xenon but it just doesn't have the power. I was looking into the marine led but upon my search I stumbled upon this guy. It has different lighting filters which I would definitely think will help in detection. The site says 1540 lumens but if I had to guess it's more around 1000, still great for detection though. The external flaps should help focus light and help differentiate the lit spots vs not (Light fade is one of the biggest pitas with swirl detection). The other thing is I can change out the battery pack quickly VS having to wait for a charge, the battery prices aren't bad either. It's around the same price as Brinkmann Marine LED but with over double the output and far more goodies. Let me know what you guys think of this idea.

I just picked the the ultrafire H6, I gotta say it kicks ass. Its headmounted and lasts forever, not to mention waterproof and right angle.
