Im kind of interested in buying one. Id consider selling my Flex 3401 to loosen up some cash to get one.

Also, now that I got a new job in a mechanic shop and have access to a big air compressor, that air powered one is looking good too.

The LHR21e is limited to 6" pads correct? Not necessarily a bad thing as the Flex was limited for a while but came out with a new backing plate for smaller pads. I hardly use 6.5" pads for no particular reason. I just like my 5.5" pads.

I need to sell some stuff ;)

Works as advertised and the cost is justified.

If you have the means...I highly suggest you pick one up.

If Kevin Brown says it's good...it's good!!

hey Richie, may I ask what pad are you using?? because I was using a 6.5 in LC white pad with sonax perfect finish today, it wasn't as smooth as the 6.5 in Meg finishing pad with D300.

Looks like I need to get some 6" pads now but my 5.5" pad looks like it's working :D

No vibration was what sold me. I switch to rotaries to give my hands a break. This looks like a happy medium. Plus bob has one and I have to stay current. ;)

Every once and awhile a product comes out which just works, of course some will question motives if a particular person endorses said product with the hype that comes along hand in hand in those situations. As Bryan said Bob has one so he has to stay current................. but seriously when something is costly you should vet the product to make sure you are not getting burned.

I am partial to BBS wheels, they are up there in price but they are a "Firstime everytime" product and I have had a set on three of my work trucks(S-Runner/Tundra/ X-Runner) as the quality of the forging and fit/finish are consistant. Just look at the machine, and more importantly who is selling it(Mr KBM) and you have a "No Brainer" as Kevin is world class in knowledge but more important to me would never do something "Questionable" ever.

I have found out years ago when bob says it is the poo, it is the poo. that and Kevin is always on the leading edge of things, so why question it. I like BBS wheels bob, but I am not a true car guy in that sense and would likely never buy a set, whether you consider them the poo or not.;)

I have a LHR21E coming my way, but I'm debating if I should have gone with a LHR15E (thought it wasn't coming to the US) instead. I prefer 5" pads when detailing.

All the Rupes machines rock, LHR 75, LHR15e LHR21e, and are suppose to be used with the Rupes pads and compounds, I wouldnt use anything else now, been using this system for four months non-stop and it saves time, produces better results quicker and with no headaches, or heat, you can even polish edges with it and no vibration from the 21mm or 15mm orbits. Works on all types of paint and finishes down beautifully, so much so I brought a box of everything of the Bigfoot range.

    Kind Regards

I looked at Buffdaddy.com and dont see these machines listed anywhere.

Kevin's got a long list of people to supply to. i think he said 1 shipment was at customs and another was on it's way from overseas.

most of the talk and action on the rupes goes on over at facebook and the detailer buddies group.

contact him directly and he'll get you the machines and also the "mod" for the LHR21E also. :headbang:
