Hello everyone, I have a small detailing business that this summer I took mobile. Everything is great except I have ran out of room in my truck for all the Equiptment which includes 90 gl water tank, pressure washer, generator, products and other things. I have been looking into enclosed trailers and I am wondering if anyone has or is using a trailer? If so what do you think and any advise you would have before I purchase one. Also I am looking for ideas of how to organize accessorize the trailer so if anyone has any advise or even pictures of theirs I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for all your help.

I'd suggest a full size van instead of a truck / trailer combination. I ran a full size GMC Savana with 100 gallon tank, gas pressure washer etc and had tons of room.

I thought about that when I was deciding on buying a new vehicle last year. my issue was that Detailing is my second job that I do on my days off. with that in mind I couldnt justify buying another vehicle just for detailing and I did not want a van as my daily driver. so I bought a 2011 silvarado Z71 Figured I would use the bed for a summer or two to haul my equiptment and decide what to do next when the time came. now the time has come not only did I out grow the bed of the truck but I am also sick of loading and un loading my generic 5500 generator. so a trailer seems like the most logical next step + I think the wife would kill me if I bring home another vehicle (I have 4 cars and only 1 is practical)

You may want to reconsider your equipment etc to make everything work. You should be able to make everything work in the back of that truck. Nice choice by the way! Wife and I are looking at one as well. I had a Caravan, then an Astro and finally a Savana. Guess what. Right now I am carrying everything I need in my Passat Wagen. You just to be realistic about what you are carrying. Do you do a lot of work where water and electricity are not available? I carried water for almost 15 years. I could count one one hand the places I worked where a hose bib wasn't available. Same with electricity. I didn't do shampooing on the road. Only wash n vacs, waxes and occasional polishing. Only carry a gallon of APC concentrate. Chances are 8 or 16oz of the other stuff we use will be all you need on a daily basis. Most people have no problem with you using their water and power. Keep it simple.

+1 on reconsidering your equipment. I can carry everything in my 2010 4dr civic believe it or not. I can fit EVERYTHING for a complete detail in there. I hardly ever have to bring my generator(eu2000i) on a job because most customers just assume I will be using their electricity and are completely fine with it.
