This black GT-R came in for an extensive correction. The soft GT-R paint presented its own challenges, but with the right tools and products, a high level of correction was achieved. The better part of 2 days was spent getting the car to look its best. As it arrived Tips would require some good polishing Much better now Pre-wash foaming to soften the dirt before washing Swirls After compounding, final polishing to be carried out later Corrected (specs are just some polishing dust) After initial cut.... more compounding still to be carried out. Tail lights need corrective work as well Final polishing completed on rear section The door jambs and trunk jambs also got attention and were sealed for protection and ease of cleaning. Client brought some products from Premier and requested their use on the film. LSP choice for this car was Blackfire Wet Diamond Allowing it to cure overnight for the best results Reflection shot.... Awesome job! I absolutely love the GT-R's so I will admit it was painful to view some of those before shots!
I think the exhaust tips were the most impressive turn around for me, what was your process with those? Buy new ones? haha
