Hi Guys, A short intro to this detail. The owner is an avid dog lover...Husky Dogs...hint hint, preface of about what's to come. :giggle: He was asked to make his vehicle available for a show. Well, after years of neglect and transporting dogs, he needed it brought back to pristine condition, in order to be presentable at the show. Thus, after seeing my work, he sought me out to work on his vehicle as he knew I was the one to do the job. I checked out the vehicle before hand and knew what I was up against. So I set aside some time and had him bring in the vehicle for work. The car had some really cool customization done to it, the interior and exterior had mods, only the engine components were not modified (stock). Without further adieu, I ask this question: Who Let The Dogs Out...Baha Men Here we go... Wow, lots of pics man lol. The hair was pretty bad but i'll give the owner some credit, if its been years since he's had anything done...he did a decent job of keeping it as clean as possible lol...you definitely had your work cut out for you though. So got any tips on what you did to remove the hair....we've done some BAD dog hair jobs...got the job done but always looking for new tricks to make it faster..though equally effective. One final note...am i the only one that had uhm....creative thoughts when seeing the shifter that was put in that car lol?
Why treat a car like that then attempt to show it blows my mind, must have been a rare thing. Good work on the cleanup though, you probably had enough hair there to build your own husky. And yes, I agree...the blue and the shifter weren't a big hit for me either.
lol...we'll leave the shifter as is for now, or up to your creative mind...:giggle: thanks for the comment Wills! for the hair, i used a pumice stone, it worked well. you could also use a damp MF towel as someone just recently informed me on another forum. thanks Ace! i don't think he meant to have it as a show car. more of a daily drive which he modded extensively on the inside and outside. he did put a lot of money into mods and styling, he just loves his dogs and didn't have another vehicle to transport them in, so they went into the back of the coupe. thanks Jay! no it wasn't you...but you were the FIRST to that thought...hahahah : thanks Kody, Luke, and Nik! yeeaaahhh buuudddddyy...! i think these cars drive well, most people say that the turbo definitely helps compared to the non-turbo... thank you Drew!
terriible paint job on the interior panels..... should have just left it alone and stuck with the body kit and rims
Thank you Franki and Donald I covered the engine top and the alternator and blocked off the air intake Used P21S TAW On all the components and agitated and then rinsed Don't be scared, just take Pre caution and watch where you aim the water Thank you Karl
Great job removing the pet hair. Looks like there was LOTS of it. Interesting choice on interior details.
