2008 BMW E90 M3 Interlagos Blue Paint Correction

    This detail was a bit different than the others. Customer found me on forums and requested a pick-up/delivery detail as well as a paint correction and interior leather treatment, plus wheel sealant and exhaust polish. I had the car for three days total, picked up in New York City and delivered to a residence in New Vernon NJ three days after pickup. Enjoy!


    What was done:
    - Before pictures
    - Wheels hit with Sonax full effect and iron x
    - Tires treated with Adams APC and prima nero
    - Engine sprayed down and treated with in and out spray
    - De-Bugged with 1Z Bug and Tar Remover
    - Exterior wash using lusso auto bathe and foam gun w/ CG MSii
    - Door, hood and trunk jambs cleaned
    - Prima nero on undercarriage
    - Aquartz Iron Cut to decontaminate
    - Clayed entire exterior including windows
    - Taped up
    - 3 step - m105 -> menz sip -> opti poli-seal
    - Rubber and vinyl cleaned w/ In and Out, Prima nero
    - Exhaust tips polished w/ Optimum Metal Polish
    - Windows clayed again and cleaned with prima clarity
    - Wheels waxed with Prima Wheel Armour
    - Exterior Wax -> 1Z Glanz Wax


    Interior:
    - Vacuum
    - Trims treated with Prima Nero, Adams in and out and 1Z Cockpit Premium
    - Interior glass cleaned with clarity


    Products used:
    Exterior wash:
    - Lusso auto bathe
    - Gilmour Foam gun w/ CG MaxiSuds
    - Blue microfiber wash mitt
    - Uber super drying microfiber towel
    - Prima nero on undercarriage
    - Aquartz Iron Cut
    - 1Z Bug and Tar Remover


    Engine:
    - Adams APC
    - Adams In n out spray


    Interior:
    - 1z Cockpit Premium
    - In n out and Prima Clarity and Nero to clean the trims
    - Assortment of Leather Masters Products


    Paint correction:
    - Porter Cable PC 7424XP
    - Flex 3401
    - Flex PE-14
    - Uber green and blue 4/5.5 pads
    - Surbuf pads 5.5
    - Megs 105
    - Menz SIP
    - Opti Poli-seal
    - 1z Glanz Wax


    I apologize in advance for the blurry, nighttime pictures. I picked up the car at night time and delivered it at night time. Was working on a tight schedule and tried my best to capture photos, but customer was very satisfied, so I'm happy :)

    Nastiest clay I've ever seen. Alot of the black marks on the clay are from tar/tire pieces

    I use a process similar to the two bucket method when cleaning leather interior. Dip into first cup of clean water, spray foam onto microfiber, wring off dirt into second cup and repeat. Here's the difference in water.

    Quick 50/50 process in an attempt to show the correction. Interlagos blue is one of the hardest colors to catch on. Always tricky

    Thanks man. I love the e90 but chose to go for an e92 lol.

    Hahaha I was saying the same thing. Brinkmann 25 dollars or pay for half my gas tank.... choices choices hahaha
