when i detailed a black trailblazer a month or so ago the woman that brought her to pick it up saw what i did with it and set up an appointment on the spot...i knew i was going to be in for a treat after my brother told me he knew her and the shape her car was in...this was in the top 2 for worst interior i have had to deal with...i could have made a medium fry with the amount i got out of under the seats and crumbs were coming from places i didnt think they could...in the end the car turned out pretty good...i wouldnt suggest eating as you read this post until you get to the afters...enjoy interior before exterior before interior after exterior after
Wow...I love luxury and exotic write ups...but revivals like these are so entertaining. Great work on this turn around.
nice work man. It's great to see some work being done on daily drivers vs exotics all the time but both type of writeups are great. You worked some wonders on this car for sure.
thanks....my demographics as of now are all blue collar DD's...im hoping as word spreads i will get into the higher end world...its only my 2nd year of doing this as a 2nd job so maybe next year with a little more advertising i can start to get those garage queens and exotics thanks!!!
With all the electronics and electrical parts in the engine bay, what parts did you have to cover if any at all? thanks very nice job done there.:applause2:
Nice job quoting every single picture to ask that question. That was the tops! Really though, nice job OP, looks like it still had some work to go, but quite a transition. Pretty random, but did you coat your garage floor yourself? If so, which kit? How long has it been coated, and any issues?
yeah for the amount she was paying i had to cut it off...the paint still had some deeper imperfections another pass could have taken out but i had to get it done in the time frame i decided on...the garage floor was like that when i moved in so im not sure...some of the areas have started to come up a little so i may redo it sometime thanks! i took a hot shower after the interior was done because i felt pretty disgusting
Excellent job there! How did you clean the steering wheel? I also see you helped yourself to the tip in the cupholder. Lol jk.
i cleaned the steering wheel with Adams leather and interior cleaner and dressed with SVRT which was wiped down to even out and take some of the shine away....i pulled the money for the shot and put in a baggie for the customer as much as i deserved the extra tip lol
Wow that is a great turn around, it was trashed inside and out. I understand that a lot of people simply look at a car as transportation and don't want to put the time and effort into cleaning the exterior often. But I never understood why they let the interior go to hell. It's like not vacuuming your home for 6 months..
thanks....she said she was trying to use a spatula to get the crap out from between the center console and seat lol
Haha, I was just thinking the same thing. Bugs me when people do that. To the OP, great job and amazing work. I love seeing turn arounds like that on regular cars. High end cars are great to look at, but I really like seeing every day cars and trucks on here too. Again, nice work.
thanks...i wouldnt mind getting my hands on an exotic to change it up a bit since all i deal with is DD's lol
