    Hi,

This car was done for a friend of mine, and it was a sort of a pre-sale spruce up which went a little further than first anticipated.

In general, the car has done over 200k kms, and the owner had taken the car to the automated car washes through most of the time.
To make the damage less over the time, the owner booked it in at a local "detailer" once a year, leaving it filled with hologramming and swirls.

Heavy cut in several hits were needed on almost every panel, except the hood which was repainted at some point.

    Beginning Day 1 with a 4 hour Wash/Decon

Not much contamination left on the surface after the tar remover and Iron X

All correction photos were taken during compounding, no photos of the refining stage, as I was a little short on time.

After finishing it with M205, I gave it two layers of Menzerna Power Lock. Thanks to the lovely weather in Denmark, I got no afters in full sun, only the indoor shots below:

Very nice work! I have a 2005 S4 Avant that has not-so-bad paint, but similar. I was wondering - can you offer any advice on how to polish the roof rails? I am not sure what product/technique would work best. I believe they are aluminium but I'm wary of anything too agressive. They are dull and have water marks all over. I've tried some light hand polishing with poor results. (I'm a bit of a newb).

    Thanks in advance!

Great job . Amazing turn around. That was a badly abused finish.
