I personally love grande finale to death. use so little and create more shine with the very least streaking and beads so so. Have been playing around with crystal mist during the last week and find that this stuff adds a really deep color gloss, is thick and streaks but the less you use means less streaking. the look of this stuff on my s2k really something else Anyone else?
Both are great products as you mentioned, but also very different. Z8 is a spray sealant and Crystal Mist is a QD. Z8 will last much longer than CM.
I am playing around with stacking them, crystal mist roped with gf after a wash. So far the results are pretty amazing. I find that I spray down the car while it is a little wet with cm and then use gf to buff it out Awesome combo!
I have only used the CM and I like it. Less is more or it does streak as you mentioned. I have found that a spray or two on the towels then super light mist on the paint makes it very easy to use.
Oldz, that is what I found out after figuring out gf. I apply it alot like Grande finale and get great results though I do like using it to spray down the car with a kwazar and then smearing it in so that there are streaks everywhere and then misting a towel with gf to go around buffing out the streaking. Not a TON of cm but enough to rub in all over I am in love with this combo and can't wait to see how good it will be with more practice. Hope this combo produces alot of beading.
