Well the heat wave seems to be finally over here in Sacramento - CA, which means that ill more than likely be detailing my car today and tomorrow Its been over 100 degrees the entire last 2 weeks and as soon as you step outside, your detailing motivation just run out the door lol. its 90 right now but its not too bad, ill be washing/claying my car in the shade Earlier this week my car showed me this:
This summer was a consistent 110+ in Vegas... what makes it worse is that it was 105+ and RAINING last weekend. Luckily these next couple days are a cool overcast less than 100.
My bro was in vegas a few weeks ago, said it would be 105 in the middle of the night (around 2am) thats crazy!! and he said during the day it was 120 lol I always think we have it bad here in the valley and then i remember about Vegas lol
Been 95 INSIDE my shop the last 3 days. Kudos to you guys in places like Phoenix etc that see these temps regularly. Crazy hot.
Have the upmost respect for full time detailers in my area (DFW). I've lived here my whole life and it is HOT this summer!
lol...hot and stuffy and smells like cow dung, eh? you got it bad 111 F is ~44 C...damn that's hot. well vegas is the desert so i wouldn't expect anything less, but 102 F at night is crazy, you can't go out in the day, must spend the day light in the casino or hotel...haha
Yeh bro i dont know how you do it, everytime i pass Fresno i smell that shit, even when A/C is not taking air from outside and and windows are up lol xD Its intense man, kudos to you
If you are driving South on I-5 there is a big cattle yard that has mountains of cowcrap piled high; right off the freeway - that is what you are smelling and yes, the smell will get into the vehicle pretty much all the time.. I try to avoid driving that way unless its already dark or really early in the morning when its not so hot.
