Gauging your interest in the Griot's 3 inch Random Orbital Polisher

I completely stopped buying supplies but this is something I would purchase.

I think it's definitely worth the money but I really like the 3" pads that go along with it rather than the 4". They are a very nice size and benefit the machine by less surface area and less friction to allow the pads to spin better IMO.

Another plus one on the 3" pads.

 

I also agree with the 3 inch pad idea. I'm already using 5" on my 6" Griots. 4" wouldn't make much sense.

 

we will kit them with the 4 inch pads to begin with we will have to look and see if we can get a 3 inch pad out.

 

Would you consider a pre order deal on just the polisher? I have no use for 4" pads with the small griots machine?

It's a super lightweight tool. About the easiest tool to maneuver into tight spaces, however it doesn't have the same correction power that the 6" one does IME.

 

Phil don't you have 3" Meguiars MF pads?

 

Best combo! I love the 3" pads they take a beating from me on my PCXP and custom 3" BP. They would be ideal for this machine.

 

I have some 4" uber pad for my PC already, maybe Phil can combine the kit with Meg/Opt/Uber MF cutting/finish pad?
