Handz Los Angeles River Photoshoot *Yes, I Drove My Car Into The LA River**HighRes**

So, I had heard there was a secret way to take pictures in the Los Angeles River. Of course, nobody would tell me how to get there or where it was because it's a secret.... It took me a few months to find out how to get down there and it ALL paid off. Hella worth the danger and risk lol. Alot of famous music videos and movie were filmed down there including the legendary race seen from the movie "Grease". Probably one of my favorite photoshoot locations to date!!! I also attached High Quality Desktop Images if you guys want them at the bottom. Beware, High Res Versions are about 20MB's per file.

My uncle is a officer in the la area. I'll be sure to give him these pictures.

 

Legit!!! A few Officers even helped me drive my car down there for a photo op since a group of photographers were doing a shoot down there. They were actually very cool with it and said they liked my car

Hope you didn't run over any transients while driving down there. You should have asked us on how to get down there. I used to enjoy going down there. That shallow water and algae really makes for some fun rear wheel drive antics.

 

I found jimmy Hoffa down there....lol

A prime location indeed. Not a fan of Mustangs, but yours makes me smile. Looks like you have quite a bit of hard work in it.

 

I'm born and raised in la, Venice to be precise. While living there I thought nothing of the " la river". Now, after seeing real rivers in various spots of the US, calling the la rain gutter a river makes me chuckle!

 

Great location! There is a reason so many shoots go down there!

I have gone MANY times, but always on bike rides, never car. REALLY FUN AREA!

One note, probably bad lighting, but in one of the shots, your roof almost looks dull, at least compared to the rest of your paint. odd.

 

Great shots and car. Some clear fogs would finish off the look imo.

 

Nice setup on the car and the iconic location. I always wandered if that was publicly accessible or there were "methods/ways" to get down there.
