I'm looking for some ideas of what car i should look into buying, and since this is an enthusiast forum it would help to hear some of your suggestions. Obviously i have scoured the web and have had trouble finding something that fits. Now looking for outside opinions, Hyundai Genesis coupe Track, BMW Z4M and CTS-V have been on my list but have been now excluded do to different reasons. I've had my TL Type-S for a year now and need to get into something new for a couple of reasons, it's an amazing car but simply i'm just plain bored. FWD, 4 doors and an automatic just isn't cutting it! My Criteria: Anything but FWD, i'd even do one wheel drive instead of fwd. Manual 2005+ Under $30,000 Ideally a 2 door. Decent gas mileage, i just can't handle 15mpg. Decently reliable, Maserati won't make that list Besides that i'm not being to picky. I appreciate any input and look forward to doing a correction on my new car!
Would a Mustang work for you, unless you like to track then a Mustang is no good. If you can afford the insurance and repairs, get like a used 3.35d... TL-S is great, I would love that vehicle.
What kind of driving do you normally do? Although I love my brothers 2011 GTi, I'm just not in the mood for go karts anymore. An Audi S4 Avant would be nice. Love a german wagen.
^+1 what do you want to use car for? Toy,DD,Track? I'm a awd fan so I would consider a Subaru Legacy gt spec-b. The Genesis is nice, my evo is almost paid off and I am considering picking one up as well

^ the A5 is seriously under powered imo. The 2.0T is smooth but lacks sufficient power to really move the almost 4000 pound car. The BRZ and FRS are in the same boat not enough power. I do like them, waiting to see a reliable turbo kit for them. I'm sure Subaru will offer a STI model
It will be my daily driver, and occasionally Auto-X/ Track "B*tch". I just test drove a 370Z sport package, and a Genesis Coupe Track package today with some outcomes. Honestly surprised to say that the Genesis was an overall better car. Quicker, better feel, better brakes and about $6,000 less! Unfortunately there is only 1 Manual Genesis 13' coupe in the state of California currently as they are halfway through the model change and i there is apparently a massive shortage... I really like the FRS/BRZ as i have driven both but as said previously they lack power for what they are. Looking into possibly a 6 speed 135i but they're a little out of my price range. Any other suggestions?
Just get yourself a STi and track that. You will be super happy with the handling as well as power and the ease of upgrading. You may also want to consider a used M3 like a 06 or something like that as they are great cars. There is really a ton of choices you just need to narrow it down bit. 135M would be sweet but expensive im sure.
