Thought I would share my mobile rig. 2012 Nissan NV 3500s. iPhone pics and after a long week of work, it's filthy right now. Lol. Tools: Flex PE14, Porter Cable 7424xp, (2) Griots 3", Griots 6', Cyclo, 2 shop vacs, Impact driver, cordless drills, Honda Gene, Honda pressure washer, homemade skid, portable toilet (a must!) and the list goes on.....
you got a lot of stuff in there...if i'm not mistaken, Dave (dsms) also has the same model vehicle...but different year i think. i like the frame that you built for the pressure washer. it allowed you to mount the hose reel on top of it and it has a slot for the wand also. very cleaver! i like it. why not mount the ladder on the roof to clear up more room inside the cargo area?
Thanks! I will be getting a ladder rack as shown in the near future. . . they are not cheap! This design is imperative. I am 5'6 and reaching/crawling up this beast is a no go.
Got a deal that I couldn't pass up. Didn't step into the dealership one time and was delivered with 10 miles and $26K out the door. :gasp: The Sprinter I wanted was well over $36K. I went with the 3500S model as I wanted the 5.6L v8 with black trim on the exterior. I have the fleet Ram Mount for ipad (navigation, emailing, contact backup) . . . but I do wish I had added the technology package. Nissan hit their market right on the button. Simple and usable design for ANY mobile business. Never been a fan of Nissan, but when I saw the NV and test drove for the day, I was sold. I will be adding more enclosed shelving and storage for product since we will be bringing not only our services, but products to our clients.
Michael from einszett sent it to me, we just became a dealer. He did say it was the last one, but bring a high res file to any vinyl/marketing company and they can produce it no problem. I normally run without logos on my rigs, but I am just feeling this one out. May do something different down the road.
We spoke a couple times over pm and i must say that's one hell of a rig. You got a damn good price for that NV too as here they wanted nearly $10,000 more. You have a ton of gear as well. I so can't wait to get to California. Seems like there is tons and tons of business up there for everyone. I would like to know more about your pressure washer skid as I've really been considering something like that. Who built it and what are the specs of the motor etc for your setup?
I may need to look into that if i decide to go that route. That angled steel should be fairly priced vs paying for a skid mount. LoL
I paid $560 for pressure washer, reel, and metal to build. Oh and and $5 for a can of black engine enamel. :applause2:
It's a work in progress and definitely a step up. Started working out of home, then from the bed of a truck, then pulled a trailer and now this. Hard work pays off I guess.
vans in a sense are so much better. I use to use a pickup truck but living in a condo and having to load for work and unload at the end of work was annoying. With the van it allows me to jump in and go as well as jump out and go into the house with 0 load and unload time LoL.
