Ive always been a big fan of Ken Block since his first movie, but sadly he moved to ford, but regardless...... May not be the best rally driver, but he excels at making great videso IMO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuDN2bCIyus&feature=share
I was trying to get the inside info on the shoot but my schedule was already booked with my wifey and I shot something better than KB.
Once I saw the title with San Fran and remembering the recent gymkhana video...1 + 1 = 2 I wish it was longer and covered more spots in San fran He drifted up Lombard street which was cool, but I don't think they showed fishermans wharf I've always wondered, which house was used as the set for "full house"
I don't know. I'm not a fan of the new videos. Even the 3rd one was border line. I think the first and second are where it's at. Now it just looks like he's trying to hard to make it Hollywood. Reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs-jAImScms
I feel like number 5 was a good blend of "the drift" and Hollywood. The one at Universal Studios was just meeeh too much too much.
the end with the dancers, and rockets was just stupid......... the best one was the first one he ever did.
that's a few takes right there...look at all the tire marks i know it's pretty darn hard to get it in one go.
KB doesn't hide the fact that he does numerous takes and uses the best shots from them. Obviously certain shots he tries to get on the first try or can only do once, but for the most part, he does a few takes. The Segway donuts are the one he had to redo the most often.
