    Hey all,

I was wondering what car would you all recommend under $50k. I'm looking for a luxury car with manual tranny as a preference but auto is okay too. I I don't get to detail all these nice cars so I'm asking this communiity based on your experience which detailing cars inside and out, what car really stands out to you?

Some cars I've looked at are the g37 and the a5. I don't plan on buying this until next spring when the '14 models start rolling out.

    TIA!

I'd say 09-up CTS-V or 08-up E90 M3. Have driven the pants off both and both are phenomenal vehicles. The M3 is more poised, more conservative interior, but the V trounces it in the power department. Either way you've got a great car that is comfortable, stylish and immensely fun!

a stereotypical statement about being a yuppie car but its bang for your buck and a in my honest opinion much better daily driver car than the s4. You just cant deny the qualities of a Bmw when it comes to "the ultimate driving machine" if youre getting it new, you wont be able to get the s4 under 50k as the 335 you most likely can.

Lexus G350 F Sport. I know its like $53k but close enought to 50k.

3 series are all over the place, everyone has one.

Mazda Miata. It comes with leather seats, electric everything, great driving experience and the top comes down to boot! Until you define what "luxury" means to you, It's hard to place myself in a proper position to recommend a car. I say this based on the fact that you mention wanting it manual and both cars you named are more sports than luxury.

CTS V, you won't be disappointed. Your going to have to get it used for 50k. I recently test drove a 12 Chrysler 300 SRT8 and that was sweet too.

Gotta say that I actually like the SRT8 300, they are a pretty mean looking car.

S4 Avant! The Hyundai Genesis also is very nice and is available with a 450hp V8.

I was very impressed with ride, handling, looks, comfort, tech.......etc. It has a track app. that tells you lateral G's, 0-60, 1/4 Times and has a drag race tree too. I am gonna try and get one for the wife after her lease is up. Maybe not the SRT8, but will try to sneak the Hemi in somehow.
