Well actually bought it last week, but haven't had time to do anything to it till now.

2009 MazdaSpeed 3 in pearl white. Crystal white pearl they call, its a $200 option when new! It has 40,800km when I picked it up and in mint mechanical condition. Paintwork and body, not so much.

I started at 4pm today and did the 1st step of my detail, giving it a proper wash.

You can kind of see the swirls. White makes it hard.

And reminder to self, get wheels with less spokes, or get wheels with thinner spokes, or both.

Chocolate milk anyone? You can see they never cleaned the wheels properly, thank god its not too badly caked on.

Tomorrow will be clay bar, polish, and wax. There is so much road tar and contamination on the car and I don't have any IronX or such stuff. It shall be a long long day.

Your car looks really good, you should plasti-dip your rim

sweet MS3. My buddy has one and was surprised when I cleaned his front wheels with Sonax FE after replacing the front brakes.
The wheels were so clean and the inner barrels are a more of a white base, light silver color.

The earlier cars have silver wheels, the later cars come with this liquid gun metal colour. Its a lot nicer but the manufacturer who made these wheels didn't do a good job or painting them. Or maybe everyone just paints the front of the rims, I don't know.

He has an '08.5 and yes it seems that the fronts have been sprayed with silver and the back was just the base color.
