Just got an order of prowax.com's c-30 spot remover in the mail. Hopining to use it tommorow on neighbor's suv. If it does work as advertised, am wanting to offer this service to customers for $50.00 to $75.00 dollars per car/suv

    Like? Dislike?

I would charge more than 75 easily for that service. Kilo told me about that product as well I have yet to purchase it though, but he says its pretty good stuff and I dont doubt him. Post some before and after pics of your work tomorrow and what your technique was for application:)

    U got it

I get off work at 10am Pacific time so will do a 50/50 shot of a large window on a suburban

Did a small mirror on the family car in the dark and it came out flawless. The directions on Tue back make it clear that the stuff is toxic asking u to use glasses, gloves and a breath mask. I smelled nothing and rubbed it on and buffed it off using an old costco towel

The whole idea is to sell it with paint correction services, showing that more effort will be needed to remove defects...

Bought it as well after Kilo6 mentioned it, on some paints it works very well but overall I still prefer Mark V water spot remover and on glass it works much better.

Had a few PM's over this in the past and everyone says "I tried the spot remover and it didn't work"..........you will have to rub and rub and rub and rub........you get the picture, just one application on a heavy mineral etch will take alot to get it off. I would rather do this than compound the finish and take off clear when not needed.

On clearfilm you have to use this as it will "Laugh at vinegar", but know this................sometimes clearfilm cannot be saved, especially if the spots are reclaimed water and left to bake into the film for a longtime.

Bob ... which media type do you recommend for rubbing water spots? I have used foam pads and they just simply "melt" after 20-30 minutes.
