On an earlier thread titled "Tire dressing vs. sealant" I had mentioned I was helping test a new product from Prima called "Infinity," and someone asked for some pictures. I wanted to check with Nick first before I posted any pictures of the bottle or write any reviews. Now that I have his blessing, here are a few pics of my new favorite dressing.... Infinity.

    The bottle I was sent:

I am using a foam applicator to apply the dressing on tires and plastic trim. It has the consistency of something along the lines of Prima Epic or maybe Prima Banana Gloss. It spreads on very thin, I have found that a little goes a long way. One or two squirts will do a whole tire. The second coat looks even better than the first on tires. So far on tires I'm going on week 3 on the wifes car and the gloss is still going pretty strong. We've had a few rain storms and I've only washed it once in those 3 weeks. Sonax FE on the wheels, but tires just got a rinse.

    Tires on a friends car:

For me, the plastic trim pieces are where Infinity is really shining (pun intended). The plastic trim around the wipers, mirrors and bed rails on trucks is where I'm seeing my best results. The area around my wifes wiper blades have been plaguing me for the past couple of years. I couldnt find anything that would last more than a wash or two. To date, I'm going on a month and a half of Infinity treated trim around this area on her car and it still looks amazing.

    50/50:

And a quick before and after of my buddies 2001 325 Ci that we did 2 weeks ago. Amazing difference around the mirrors.

I hope that was helpful. I'd be happy to answer anything else that comes my way the best I can.

    Thanks for looking.

Interesting. It looks like it is fairly high gloss. Is there any way to achieve a matte or satin finish?
Add me to the list of Prima fans. I love Hydro and Slick and like Amigo. Although I haven't tried them yet I'm very interested in Hydro Wash and Hydro Seal.

We are heading to NC for an event and site seeing. We get back May 14th, so I'll get it up on our site then. We've already shipped wholesale orders to Germany and the UK, so you will likely hear more about it soon on some of the international forums. I knew my schedule was going to be tight this spring, so I offered it up to all our retailers a few months ago. Understandably, they wanted to do some testing first. I also didn't have a product description ready to guide the process. So, we are bringing a ton to the MINI event on the dragon as a pre-launch and we will make it official when we get home.

Infinity isn't really as high gloss as it looks in that picture. It goes on a little wet, but mattes down as it dries. A quick buff with a dry towel also mutes it

Im always looking for the right tire/trim dressing. I like a super black finish, but not too shiny, nice matte/satin finish. Im using CG forever black gel right now....
