Is the new version out yet? I think I saw it a "new and improved" version on Autogeek.

It's out on AG, at least - that's what they've posted on the forum.

Cool. One of the reasons i'm a big fan of their products is that they continuously make them better. Can't wait to try it.

Has anyone found out what the improvements are supposed to be? I haven't seen any new product claims to go along with the product improvement.

Chris Thomas has said the new version has more gloss and longevity. The gloss, per se, I could care less about. Personally, I would have preferred warmer rather than glossier. Greater longevity, on the other hand, might be exciting if it is a significant bump.

We will have the new version of Opti Seal in stock later on today.

How much longevity difference between new Opti Seal and Opti Coat 2.0?

    Thanks.

    Probably about 5 years.

Optiseal will last a few months at most, and is a sealant, whereas OptiCoat is a permanent coating.
