I've got my new website that I designed up and running now. I've never had any type of referral reward program and was thinking this might be a good idea. Does anyone do this now and if so, what do you offer to the person who sent you the job? Hi Rich, I thought about doing something similar some time ago but never got around to it = after "x" amount of referrals the customer gets "y" I was thinking about giving away a service that the customer does not usually get that way it will maybe be a method to get them to order it next time... I was thinking engine detail, 1z Klima, etc..... something that doesn't take much time but that may get them asking for it next time
Jason, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards either an hour of free labour or a free included engine detail, but something that will generate income, not lose it like giving away a wash or something.
That is the key and why I was initially thinking of giving a non labor intensive service that the customer had never ordered before with the hope that they will see value in it and order it in the future to generate future income on an upsell.
