I applied Sonax Premium Class about a week ago and a few days later I realized that I missed buffing off a big section of my rear bumper. Needless to say that by now it has fully cured and won't just buff off with a microfiber. So I figure my option is to strip that panel and reapply. But is there any other option that doesn't require me stripping the wax? I can get pics tomorrow if my description didn't make sense.

Let some QD spray dwell on it, then wipe it off gently. If it's really stubborn, spray a MF towel and hold it in place for a while to soften it up.

you left the wax on too long you can use some more wax on the panel and then wipe off.

I do the same method with M105 as well when it clumps in crevices along panels. Just rub some fresh M105 and it seems to come right off. Works Wonders!

I've used Adam's APC to get it off before. I got M105 on my car vinyl took it right off.

APC might be too strong and remove any LSP previously applied. Not sure if vinyl will spot up with the wrong Apc mix.

Yeah, and APC would strip the wax. Thats what I was hoping to avoid.

Ya your right might be to strong. But on vinyl its fine as long as you don't let it dry.

I say just strip it off with an IPA mixture and re apply. If its just your rear bumper its not a big deal to apply a new coat of protection to it, plus your not going to use much of whatever LSP your using since its just the rear bumper not the entire vehicle.

    Phil's method worked very nicely
