I wetsanded a BMW (ceramic clear, very hard!) bonnet today with 1,500 grit sand paper and then removed the scratches with our "Alpha" cutting pad and WP-5N compound... and left an LSP-ready finish with one step . Nice.

It's one I've been testing for a while and it could possibly be our new polisher :)

No it's a special foam that cuts like a wool pad, but finishes like a... well like it finished in the video :)

Thanks! It's a special foam pad I found some time ago... It's foam, but unlike other foam pads it cuts the same even when it gets soft and squishy! Been using it for more than a year now and I love it!!

No doubt, I would have thought there would be material re-deposited while working that area for so long. Me likey!!.

Yep it will, but I've still got about 90 more ceramic clears to pump out and thrash it a bit before I can say it's worthy :). So far it's been a dream to work with!

Yep this is WP-5N... I've done some incredible one-steppers with this polish! Also the pad is pretty cool too, because the larger pores soak up a bit of product and release it later when I need it. But WP-5N naturally has a very long working time, almost zero dust and zero filling... exactly the way I wanted it :).
