Who all is planning on getting the Ipad 3?

FYI, by the release information the new iPad does not appear to have Siri.

I love seeing all these people complain about the "lack of new features" on the iPad 3. I am the first one to bash Apple, but really: I have an iPhone 4 and couldn't even think of anything I'm missing currently that I'm looking forward to having on the iPhone 5. If they keep making the screen and camera better, that's good enough for me.

Same with the iPad 3. The screen and the camera are better, and we've got some better processing power. Works for me!

 

My feelings exactly. When it can run programs, I'll get one. I'm getting a new Macbook air in a few months instead. I can't justify a $500 toy.

 

Porn is porn my friend, regardless of the machine you are on but I would love to see Camille Crimson on that new display!

 

still have the first iPad. I see no reason to get a newer one. Mine works perfectly fine and I dont really see the need for a camera or a better screen.

I swear, Apple has a chart of maybe 20 "Features" and every year, they cross out two features and add them to their phone or ipad... Ill just wait till the iPad 10 comes out... my original iPad will probably still be working fine by then

 

i have the ipad and ipad 2 and there is a difference when you have them side by side the 2 is much faster than the 1.
the picture is also better on the 2...that being said I'm not sure I want to move on to the 3... but who knows...

my kids can see the speed difference.

 

I know its faster, but the first iPad is still fast (depending on the wifi connection). I just dont NEED a new one.... thats not to say I wouldnt take a new one if it was offered for free

I ordered one last night. I've been waiting for a performance bump and better display, Apple delivered. I feel there is enough of a difference going from my first ten iPad (which I currently use) to the "new iPad". My wife has a second gen iPad, I personally don't think it's worth it for her to spend the money to upgrade.

I read a review this morning about the "new iPad". Basically the author had this to say, "if you have a first Gen iPad or spend 10+ hours a week on a second gen iPad, it's worth the upgrade". I really don't see any reason for someone with a second gen iPad to upgrade, that is, unless it is your primary media viewing device.

 

Never had an iPad. Whenever I get the itch to buy one, the next one is around the corner, so I figure I'd wait. Well, ready this time, so I'll probably get the 3.

 

Where are you seeing these people complaining. In this thread or else where!

Thus far, my usage has been more toy than tool.... With that said I love my toy!

Ehhh, not so sure about that...when I push ANY video from my iPad to my 55" tv / surround sound the experience is definetly a bit different

Are they supposed to release a smaller version? Im sort of holding out, I got the first Ipad when it came out..... too big, I prefer the TAB 10.1 size.

mainly its for the kids to watch movies in the car, or read the newspaper. Maybe ill scoop up a used Ipad2. 500.00 is a bit steep IMO, I dont care about the camera, I think its pretty funny actually to watch people taking pictures with thier Ipads. Besides my 4s has a very nice camera.

 

There are rumours of Apple making a smaller iPad ready for the 3rd quarter, but these are just rumours... I posted a link earlier in the thread regarding this rumour.

I agree with you about the camera. I understand the front facing camera for FaceTime or Skype, but to use the damn thing as a point and shoot is just silly.

 

you watch the news now, many a reporter is using the Ipad as a camera, not only do they look like retards, but it obstructs the view of everyone else. besides how many cameras do you really need?
