I like optimum soap. Favourite smell by far and it seems to foam like crazy in its own way and retains the foam for quite some time in the bucket.

Either Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear, or Optimum Car Wash.

Both have great suds. C/Guys will strip wax with a bigger dose, Optimum is supposed to leave some Optimum on the finish.

C/Guys is $24.82/gal at C/G website and Optimum is $18.00/gal here at Phil's shop.

Sometimes I use Zaino Car Wash and its nice too. Zaino Z-7 car wash - only sold in 16oz size - $8.95

Add me to the Lusso lovers list.

Perfect amount of suds, effective cleaning without stripping, no polymers, and a great smell.

I currently have the CG citrus wash and gloss, it's very nice, but I was just looking for something extra special.

If I was not going to buy MSUG then I would just save my money and buy Gold Class at Wal-mart, when I am stripping cars I use rain-x extra foamy with zep citrus, other than that MSUG will be the only wash I am buying.

I liked Prima Hydro Wash a lot as well...

recently tried Lusso and it's probably the best I have used so far. Slick, cleans well, and the right amount of suds.

    Dear Friends

I have very little experience, but I know someone who has lots of it: mjlinane. I don't know if Optimum Car Wash was his favorite prior to Blackfire's new wash, but he said good things about Optimum's product and I tried it. I've used just two soaps in the past fourteen years: Mother's Gold (something or other) with Carnauba and, now, Optimum Car Wash.

Optimum's gloss amazed me. I'm extremely impressed with Optimum Car Wash and look forward to bathing our vehicles again as soon as I get over this cold. mjlinane says the new Blackfire wash is a step up from the Optimum, and if you follow him on the other forums, you know he's a voice of knowledge an experience.

I put two ounces of Optimum soap into a one-liter MTM Hydro foamer and foam our vehicles beyond recognition. The foam lasts for more than a full day. It can be sunny and warm outside, but our driveway looks as though it's flanked with snow after I've used Optimum Car Wash.

If I didn't have over a hundred ounces of Optimum Car Wash still to use, I'd already have some of Blackfire's new wash, too.

Optimum car was has been the soap we use on all our maintenance details for years. Nothing comes close. Lusso is waayyy too overpriced.
