I am actually switching from a pressure washer type to one that attaches to the garden hose. The Wolfgang one looks good.

i have the wolfgang one and im really enjoying it. You can dial in how thick you want your foam/how much product you use. Theres also a quick release to just use the sprayer, and depending on how far you depress the lever, you have different spray modes. Ive only used Megs Gold Class wash with mine and its great, although i do find i use a lot more product than your normal bucket washes.

I too have to autogeek one which is the same thing as the Wolfgang because autogeek owns Wolfgang. Its a good one just set it to the max setting and put 2oz of Chemical Guys Maxisuds II in it and fill it up and then foam. I don't use mine anymore because I have a Mecline
Foam Cannon that I use with my Karcher 5.85M. But I just might start using it again because I put the pw away for the winter so I might use it as a pre rinse prior to doing ONR washes

i have the Wolfgang one which i think is the same as Gilmour and Autogeek.
I have been using it for about 4 years now with a Garden Hose on Number 2 Setting.
Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II works the Best

I have the foammaster 2, never an issue...... just because its plastic don't fall into that trap of it being crap. the connection is still brass. No leaks etc. if you take care of it it could last you a life time. I still have a cheap 10.00 bug sprayer from 1999 going strong and it is all plastic.

I have the Autogeek/Wolfgang foamer and I love it. I mostly use Gold Class with it.

You gotta get a pressure washer...and that is a MUST! The difference between pressure washer/foam cannon VS hose/foam gun is like a difference between Infiniti G35/G37 VS Nissan Sentra...
I can live WITHOUT VACATION, but I cannot live without pressure washer/foam cannon...Take my word for it...

You can always get an entry level pressure washer, something like 1400psi or 1800psi along with a foam cannon and still produce shaving cream foam. I'm glad I went the PW route since it's so much easier cleaning the car with a PW anyway.

Do you add water to the chamber with the shampoo? Or just pour in few oz of the shampoo and let it mix with water as it shoots it?

Chamber? You put an oz or two of wash in the bottle, add water, and swirl it to mix them up. Then connect it to the hose and fire.

I bought something similar to the Gilmour unit from HomeDepot... the bottle was huge!! I added about 4-5 oz of Meguiar's Gold and 2-3 oz of Zep's Orange... it didn't foam much... maybe it was because I didn't add water.
