The benefits of a dash cam

Just imagine all the people he has pulled this on, picked a "Soft target".....................imo cameras will be everywhere soon like the movie "Minority report". No way I would have got out of the car right then................also there had to be one potential witness to this stupid s**t.

Had a guy try this on me in the 90's when I was driving a Limousine.................... tried to box in the Town Car I was driving(Had no client in the car) saw it coming as he was checking me out in the mirror WAY TOO MUCH, had followed me out of the Oakland Airport on Hwy 880 South..............................traffic was light and when he braked hard I "Olayed" went around and then "Brake checked him" then took off "With the quickness"..........probably helped that I went to Bondurant Executive driving course twice....................haha.

 

I know law enforcement can access the Caltrans "traffic cams" which CHP already does. You will see more and more of those .....

 

that's the sad part, nobody stopped to say "hey I saw him roll backwards."

There was a wreck around here where a motorcycle hit a car and they thought it was the cars fault till they found a security camera that overlapped and saw the bike was going about 3 times the speed limit. Without the camera footage the driver would have likely been fighting a Manslaughter charge.
And yet it was around noon and a busy road so why didn't anyone stop and say that they saw the wreck?

 

Holy moly.
He probably does twice a month to pay his bills and unfortunately he probably gets paid.
Hopefully he gets what he deserves.
