This customer found me on here, He bought this 2006 Carrera with 1800 miles on the clock. When he initially found me last year, I did a thorough wash, clay, and wax for him. We had set a different date for the paintwork to be corrected, but the weather wasn't cooperating, so we had to reschedule. This time around my detailing partner Kaisernaut was able to help, and we were able to correct/protect this car in a day’s work. The car is in pretty good shape, and the results you see here are 1.5 steps as well. He opted for Opti Coat because it makes maintaining the car much easier, plus he liked the added protection when compared to traditional wax/sealant. Car upon its arrival, Doesn't look bad, right? Wheels before, Again, wheels were in decent shape as well! Wheels after, Now things were looking proper! Then the wash....... We stripped all protection via foam cannon and apc to strip previous sealant I applied Car was then pulled inside and dried with Metro Blaster, and we discovered this....
Here is a 50/50 of the rear quarter panel I was working on Things were looking up! Midway through I decided to check our results, this is what I found, like a mirror! On Kasiernaut's side it was coming along slowly but nicely as well! Pulled it outside to take a look at things under the sun!
We then gave the car another bath hmmmmmm, still had some polishing oil left on the paint, you could see the slight water beading here So of course we gave it a 2nd bath! You could see Kaisernaut drying the car here Car was then pulled inside to tidy things up and apply Opti Coat! Here are the final results
thanks mike and kaisernaut for the excellent attention to detail! the car is looking fantastic and it's sparkly clean both inside and out. the first time mike washed my car, he left me with some onr and mf towel and some tips on keeping the car clean. mike and kaisernaut were great with the explanations and some more tips on maintaining/washing the car. i can't wait to get it out in the sun again so i can admire their work some more (too bad it's supposed to rain for the next two days). i'm loving how the paint looks!
The finished results are awesome! What did you use for the correction? I see the Meg's bottle, was it D300?
Thank you! That's the best kind of reaction a detailer can hear from his customer! Thanks, Joey! Thank you! He was indeed very very happy
Thanks, Hamza! Thank you Nah, we have empty Megs bottles laying around because we both like the way it dispenses polish. The Megs bottle you saw actually had 205 in it, that's what kaisernaut was using. I was using Menz PF (Euro version), both of us were using Griot's DA with Uber green. Thank you!
Thank you! I know right, I couldn't believe my ears when he first told me how many miles were on it when he bought it.
