I applied the Wolf trim sealant to my land rover trim, bumpers, fenders, mud laps and plastic sliders. I cleaned all the plastic with APC and let it dry. I used a small piece of cotton towel to apply the product. I only did 1 application, it covered evenly and soaked right into the plastic. The deep rich black color returned and after 20 min I wiped off any excess. It is not sticky and today the dust didn't stick to unlike the paint. I like the fact that I can use it on a door handle or the lower door trim and I dont have worry about sticky hands or crap on my work pants. Will have to see how long it holds up, but the initial impression is quite good. I may apply a 2nd coat to insure everything is truly sealed. little pricey, but seems o be worth th $ so far.
With 303 I notice the sheen washes off but there is still protection left behind. When I used 303 in the past I found that 2-3 layers over a week seem to be optimal.
Just cleaned and added another layer of wolf trim sealant. It was still beading, but wanted to deepen the color. The truck has been outside full time and been washed a couple times. overall very satisfied with the product, especially on a vehicle that lives outside full time and gets covered in mud and other off road crap.
I have used this with good durability. I sampled some for a friend out of my bottle and he reported poor durability?????? I prepped with MS......I am willing that this stuff needs an extremely clean surface to adhere to.
Sure thing! Do keep in mind though that the bond is only as strong as the surface you're applying it to. Basically if you apply it to something hard, the bond will be very strong because the nano particles are able to anchor themselves into the pores very well. If you apply it to something soft, like window rubber, the bond will be good but not "as good" as the hard plastic because rubber is so soft. Definitely a better alternative to simple dressings
