Nice work guys, that thing looks sweet, wouldn't know there was a film there but then again I guess thats the point!
Thanks Phil. I'm surprised I haven't seen more people using the self healing Xpel film yet. After seeing it at SEMA last Nov I thought for sure it would take off big time! Either way, I love seeing it done right with a full panel wrap! :thumb:
I walked by the booth but didn't really check it out. I'm going to say its probably because 3m has a deep supply chain.
As did I the first day...then Greg Nichols told me about it and we went over there with a few other guys who hadn't seen it yet. We watched them take a wire brush to the film and scratch the heck out of it. Then they poured hot water over it and the scratches were completely gone! Blew me away! Here is a video on it.....sorry for going OT on your thread though. Self Healing Paint Protection Film - XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection Film
Nice work and a great looking car. What did you guys do about the emblems on the fender? Cut around or remove and replace?
Nice work Phil! That winter set looks exactly like the set I have laying in my garage! Must be popular amongst the Audi crowd...
Excellent work Phil! I can't wait till spring when you matte clear my S4 Avant! . Its gonna look hot! Ronnie
