    Subject: 11 Audi S4 Monsoon Gray

    Requirements - New Car Prep - Clear Film Installation - Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Pre Washed with W99
    - Iron Cut
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - Paint Measurement
    - Wolf's Shine and Seal
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Wheel wells were cleaned
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

    ventureshield is what we are using as its can cover the complete hood.

    I'm surprised I haven't seen more people using the self healing Xpel film yet. After seeing it at SEMA last Nov I thought for sure it would take off big time! Either way, I love seeing it done right with a full panel wrap! :thumb:

    I walked by the booth but didn't really check it out.

    I'm going to say its probably because 3m has a deep supply chain.

    As did I the first day...then Greg Nichols told me about it and we went over there with a few other guys who hadn't seen it yet. We watched them take a wire brush to the film and scratch the heck out of it. Then they poured hot water over it and the scratches were completely gone! Blew me away!

    Nice work and a great looking car. What did you guys do about the emblems on the fender? Cut around or remove and replace?

    I know with the venture you can use a heat gun to remove the light install scratches.
