I like to use TW Ice on my trim as well. It doesn't last, but what does?

I also like Mother's clay, as well as all of Mother's tire dressings (haven't tried the newest clear version).

Surf city garage's speed demon qd is very slick, and is easy to use without streaking.

I like Megiuars UQD, although it is not slick.

I have quite a few OTC products that I use on a regular basis.

I've used NXT compared to a lot of other waxes and it matches Autoglym and a few others. The biggest thing is cure time. I've found that washing the car, claying it, applying the wax, and then working on the inside works best. That stuff can be pretty stick so I generally wipe off with last touch, and then do a quick second coat, just leaving it on each panel until I've looped around the car to it. If you want to make it really nice, you can wipe down with what ever that spray wax is that megs has. I honestly can't stand quick waxes, but the spray wax is great for a final wipe down.

My dad bought Turtle Wax ice. He waxed a few of his vehicles, told me how nice it looked, then called me a week later pissed that it didn't bead anymore. :applause2: He said he's going back to the autoglym and nxt that I sent him. He refuses to use the zymol I gifted him on anything but his motorcycle collection. I wish he'd buy another collectors car so he'll be tempted.

you know what I found to be a better QD then NXT wax, was ultimate detailer... and ultimate wax, both were very nice, and decent longevity

Wow, I never tried it, never bothered as I simply never had time to strip everything off just to try it. Honestly with all the products out there I lean towards nano coatings/sealants as I don't find my car to be a lab rat to just "try" otc products.

I own a few cars, and some of them I don't want to waste money on, they are too big and time consuming to hand wash and get run through the car wash like an outcast... I tend to use OTC or less expensive products since half of them sit on our ranch and collect dust unless I have to tow something etc... just not worth the time or the money honestly. LOL

Only personal car I care enough to hand wash is my GMC sierra and my wifes Jetta......the jetta is a lab rat actually. Right now its wearing permanon...... but once its gone Im going back to 1z glanz, that lasted and did well for me..

I use TW ICE total interior cleaner from time to time. It leaves a satin finish and has little more cleaning power and slightly more shine compared to Meg QID. I also like Meg's QID.
I still have some TW finish 2001 tire gel. I could not tell you the last time I used it. It goes on easy and has low sheen from what I can remember.

Other OTC products have and I used:
No wet no touch tire foam in the white can
    Stoners More Shine
    Jet wet tire shine
    Blue magic metal polish
    Meg's QID
An old bottle of Armor All Blue car wash. Very strong cleaning ability.
    EO Wheel and tire cleaner
    Mother's Wheel cleaner
Surf City Garage grime destroyer I do like this product.
Stay far far away from Black Magic Titanium Matte tire protectant.
An original bottle of Meg's Gold Class wax from mid 90's.
    And the list goes on.

I seem to purchase the items on close-out.

Now that I have admitted I have used OTC products in the past, my account will closed.

Stoners more shine is an outstanding product...... probably on par with most boutique dressings IMO.

I still have Turtle Wax's Ice Paste wax and Liquid Spray Ice as well. The spray was alright but the paste was hard to remove so I stopped using it.
