The reason is simple. white is not a very popular color for cars. Since the early 2000's, most cars have been getting more and more popular in shades of gray and black. Adding in the additional beige/brown/gold every once in a while. Since the average age of cars on the road is roughly 7.2 years old (My part of Canada's statistics anyways) it's only normal for there to be less white cars. Now factor in how little people get their cars detailed. You've got yourself a VERY small quantity of people who would get a white car detailed.

You could also add in this: People who get their cars detailed are mostly people who enjoy having a shiny car...white doesn't reflect as well as dark silvers, charcoals or blacks, so this would reduce the quantity of white cars being detailed even more.

The closest I've had is a light silver. (I have worked on Phil P.'s car as well, which is a pearl white but I don't really count that one :p)

Mike posted this video not too long ago...working on a white car.

If you get your car detailed. I would advise protecting it with Opti-Coat. It really does give that extra blingy shine to white cars.

I had a white car, and it is tough to notice any major difference under normal circumstances, it has to be that right light to see the swirls, etc.

Now that's work right there.. Big difference when the plastic swirls on the headlights.. tails.. Mirror caps.. And rain visors come back to life
