How can I remove these stains?

    How do i remove these stains off my roof rack?

    What kind of finish is on the rack? Is it powdercoated or painted?

    anodized aluminum i believe

    Wash, dry, light polish (I use PO85RD, but anything will work). Mine look like that after road trips too.

    Looks like an 08+ Suby rack. I believe that it's aluminum. If so, then I would wash and use some metal polish. Looks like water spots. Or polish with compound.

    Someone told me try clay bar I did wash it with soap and nothing happened its a 11 Gti rack

    Try some metal polish with 0000 steel wool. If that doesn't get them off, then have them painted and seal them up with wax! :)

    No I didn't I only washed them

    Clay it and get a mf with some metal polish and you'll be done ;)

    I would agree wash, light polish, seal.

    What would be a light polish? and do i apply by hand?
