While this is a neat product, I recall using this type of temporary spray on protection 20 years ago and the layer did not dissolve in the rain. Bring this type to market and Ill buy it by the case.

is it still possible to put wax on top of the sprayed on clear bra. If it can then it will help with the water dissolving the sprayed on clear bra.

No I don't recommend it, it's not going to "waterproof" it

This is simply incredible! I've wondered when someone would develop a product like this and Wolfs Chemicals did it!!

    Congratulations!!

How well will it repel small stones and sand that would normally result in chipped paint?

I wish I could remember as I used it 15-20 years ago. It removed with a power washer, a bit of peeling and adhesive remover.

    Bump.

When will this become available (specifically with Phil)?

I imagine I will be going on a roadtrip this summer and would love to have it by then.

    Ironic timing.

I saw the facebook post that Shine and Seal was available - so it piqued my interest again.

    Thanks Phil.

I bought it, I tried it....

    - put on my averagely-treated daily driver truck for a trip to S. Florida (from Central FL)
    - it was raining that morning, very humid, I was in a hurry, applied in the garage, product was still tacky when I got on the road....basically I did a lousy job of application
    - hit bugs on the way down
    - it sat in a parking lot all weekend outside in South Florida
    - hit bugs on the way back

99% bugs came off with no agitation, no pressure washer, just a garden hose with 99cent nozzle..... = win

Nice product! Probably an even better product if I let it dry fully before hitting the road. Only possible complaint is that it did seem to impact my LSP a little. Not sure if it fully stripped it but the beading is different now. I'll look closer tomorrow.

I just saw that I still have a couple of cans left in my dad's garage. I can't remember the brand of it but it's basically the same stuff and procedure. :D

Cool thanks for the feedback! It's OK if it's still a bit tacky when you take off because it will air-dry within a couple of minutes :)! Yeah it will change the way the LSP beads a little after removing it, but we've found that with our nano sealant under it the change is very minimal. It won't necessarily "strip" the LSP, but rather just changes the water behavior a bit because it will stick to the oils in the LSP. But something for something I guess :)!
