Cannot speak for Americana, but I have MS, and I love it. I am not a big wax fan, I prefer sealants due to where I live. However the ease of application, and paired with BFWD it looks really good on my Steel grey GMC. I applied one coat of both thanksgiving and it is still going strong, granted I garage my truck and it has not rained. However I have washed it with Adams shampoo atleast 5 times since Thanksgiving and it still beads. I am thinking it is time to maybe top it off. Compared to p21s, it is easier to apply and wipe off, same with AGHD. Only other wax I would say that is comparable for durability thus far based on my experience is 1Z glanz.

Haha I cannot speak for MS, but I do have Americana. I really like it and beads really well. It has lasted about three-four months (put it on at the end of September) on my daily driver which I think is pretty good. It's a huge container so you definitely get a lot for your money, in my opinion.

i would like to try americana but i do have bfms and it looks good easy to use and i havent had it haze or sweat on my yet but i must say i greatly prefer petes 53 over bfms ...its just as easy to apply looks almost identical to me and last longer with much stronger beading

There's a huge thread on the AG forums of people complaining about the $20 price hike on the MS. Something to think about.

Other vendors still are offering BFMS for $59.99.

476s beads like no other. Gloss isn't best, but for winter protection, you can't beat it with a stick.

Want to trade for the liquid? LOL.

I can't apply the liquid thin enough not to get sealant holograms.

My vote for best paste goes to either BFMS or Adam's (just picked up the Adam's from Phil). They are very similar in terms of ease of use.

Rob, do you think there is a difference between the paste or the wax in regards to Megs?

My go to Wax is actually 1Z, i use MS on my personal stuff..........

the durability is very good with the 1z, as is the beading effect so as long as its as good Id be happy.

I like the paste better. I have learned to use the paste if I use extremely little product.

It gives a really nice look, and if I had to estimate, I'd say durability is pretty high up there too (paste...maybe liquid as well, but I'm not very good @ using it).

I was kidding about the liquid btw. Pick up the paste if you are going to give the ultimate wax a try (@ least, my opinion).

There is a nice thread on MOL about Megs UW paste version. Looks like the paste is the way to go.

Americana smells like eucalyptus. It comes with my favorite hand applicator sponge as well, which makes it the easiest wax to work with that I have used.
