Here's a 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI in metallic black that I just finished up for a friend.

    Aw, crap...

    Interior isn't bad, just neglected.

Makes you wanna sneeze just by looking at all the dust

Adam's In and Out Spray is simply amazing.

    Shiny!

Wheels were treated with the usual: Adam's APC, Green Wheel Cleaner, Fender, Boar's Hair, and Lug Nut Brushes
    [IMG]

    Now nice and clean.

Adam's Great White Drying Towel doin' its thing, covers more than 1/2 the hood of this small car.

Love bugs still there... or are they?

Turns out the damage is past the clear and into the paint, nothing I can do about it.

Claying the car ... holy crapola

    Another one bites the dust

The love bugs didn't prevent me from preparing an arsenal for my onsalught:

Menzerna Power Gloss with Uber Yellow and 7424xp after about what seemed like an hour
    [IMG]

    50/50 close ups

Bug damage is through the clearcoat, and cannot be fixed:( The rest of the car is surprisingly in great shape. Menzerna Power Finish and Uber Orange pad, 2 passes on most other panels

    Notes:

Adam's Super VRT on all trim
Adam's In and Out Spray on front grille areas
Interior cleaned with Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner, followed by Adam's Leather Conditioner
Floor mats removed and washed with Adam's APC and Fender Brush, dried by Metro Sidekick

    Thanks for looking!

Good work Joe. Sounds like you found the Black Magic Pearl paint to be hard?

    A pity about the hood.
