I Emailed Swissvax over a month ago with no response with which wax system I should use for my 2010 Phantom Black Evo X. I have never used any of their waxes but am thinking about picking up a jar for my personal vehicle, which is currently getting Wolgang Fusion.

Is their cleaner fluid necessary after a wash and clay treatment?

    Thanks,
    Colin

Not sure where you live or if this car is going to be a daily driver but if you plan on driving this car daily and it see any winter weather, I would suggest you us a sealant IMHO for protection and Durability. Menzerna Power Lock is a good choice as is Black Fire Wet Diamonds. These 2 are similar. there are also the Aquarts coatings that are a benefit on black if you can handle the application process. Not that it is so hard but I don't know it and I don't polish to perfection yet, so I dont want to lock in any nonsense.

Depending on how much you are willing to spend I would look into Onyx or Samurai as the basic. You can also look into Mirage and Concorso if price doesn't scare you too much...

A pre-wax cleaner is important, the wash and clay session wont remove everything. What about the finish on the car? Any swirling or hologramming? IMO you should assess such problems before using an expensive product to protect the paint.

If I would recommend a swissvax based on all factors, it would be Swissvax Shield. It has good durability, looks very good and the price isn't too bad.

    Kind regards,

If you're looking at the entry-level Swissvax waxes, have a look at Blau Weiss. A very nice wax for the money. And like other have mentioned, don't overlook Menzerna Power Lock. Amazing sealant that's easily the EASIEST product to apply and remove. Makes my black truck look LIQUID.

well first off im sure you dont want crystal rock.not worth the money imo.(even tho i never tried it)... cleaner fluid is not needed before applying thier wax.its swissvax way of getting more money out of you.lol just polishing your car and preping it will be just fine.and i would do sheild or concorso if i were you.
