You want to layer your LSP, but yet you have to drive your car (to work for example) before the curing process (say, 12 hours) is complete. What do you do before you apply the 2nd/3rd layer?

Not sure, how many of us have this problem, but this has always a dilemma for me as I only have one vehicle. I have never been able to layer my LSP because I do not know what I should do after I have driven the vehicle and expose it to dust and other contaminates.

Just wait till it cured, and wash with a mild PH neutral shampoo....... that is what I had to do last winter. You will be fine.

Take the bus.... Wash with ONR or similar

ONR will not work, because the polymor in the ONR will affect the bonding... so I've been told.

I haven't had any ill effects, you could always use Dodo Juice Basics of Bling

what would be a decent OTC soap for between wax washings? I normally use MSUG for washes but I need something lighter, megs gold class maybe?

I used ONR as a clay lube an had this issue with wax bonding poorly. I can remember the different dilutions of wash and clay lube but that may be a differentiating factor.

CG CWC and Prima Hydro Wash would work as well.

Which wax or sealant takes 12 hours to cure? Sounds like you need to switch to a new product...

    KSG.

    • WAIT 8-12 HOURS BEFORE LAYERING additional coats of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze or any other product. I recommend you let your car sit overnight and then reapply in the morning or afternoon.
